Charles Elliott & Associates, LLC
We Don't Build Clients, We Build Relationships.

The Neighbor You Know And Trust

Born and raised across the river in Pineville, attorney Charles D. Elliott is a Louisiana native who serves clients in Alexandria and the surrounding parishes. He has practiced law here since 1993, and primarily focuses on personal injury, medical malpractice, estate planning and successions. Charles attended Louisiana Tech University for his undergraduate work and then Louisiana State University where he obtained a master's degree in computer science. After a brief stint teaching at Buckeye High School and working in Dallas writing computer software, he decided to attend LSU Law School where he finished in the top 10 percent of his class.

Technology is a growth area, but Charles felt the call to help people in a real and meaningful way. This revelation is what led him to law school and continues to be a guiding principle in his life. Charles has worked in courts at practically every level, including the Louisiana Supreme Court, the Coushatta Tribal Court, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, and even the Federal District Court in Florida.

While he is an experienced courtroom litigator, Charles is also a certified mediator. He is associated with Elizabeth Middleton and Associates for mediation services, and he is a member of the LSBA's Alternative Dispute Resolution Section and the Louisiana Mediator Registry.

Treating Everyone Like A Neighbor

Many lawyers say that they are hands-on or client-friendly, but the office of Charles Elliott & Associates is a welcoming place where clients are invited to come in, sit down and have a cup of coffee. Some still stop by long after their case is resolved. We pride ourselves on getting to know you -- your health, your needs, and your goals.

Giving Back To Community

Charles also volunteers his time serving on the board of the Salvation Army, is the president of the Central Louisiana Pro Bono Association, and is actively involved in other organizations as well as his church. He published a book on personal injury in Louisiana, and you can request your free copy through this website. Putting his computer programming skills to use, Charles is the author of the Louisiana Judicial Interest Calculator, which is used by most lawyers in the state, and is posted on the Louisiana State Bar Association's website.
